TFTP Server in OS X Leopard
Enjoy all the amazing TFTP power already built into your operating system, no need to go buy 3rd party software.
- Enable a Terminal
- Copy the files you want to serve up to /private/tftpboot
- type: sudo launchctl
-
from the launchd% prompt type the following:
-
load -F /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/tftp.plist
-
start com.apple.tftpd** USE your TFTP Server at this point **
-
-
When you are done type the following, again at the launchd% prompt:
-
stop com.apple.tftpd
-
unload load -F /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/tftp.plist
-
You can thank me later.
